If your salon runs on Meevo, your service menu already exists, with prices and durations, along with your team and your locations. Most salon websites ask you to type all of it in again. Then every price change has to be made twice, and sooner or later one of the two lists is wrong.
A wrong price on the website is not a small thing. It becomes an awkward conversation at the desk, with a client who feels misled before their appointment has even started.
Read it from where it already lives
The better approach is for the website to read that information from Meevo instead of keeping its own copy. This is how Gloss Front works for Meevo salons. Once you connect your Meevo account, the website reads:
- services, with prices, durations and add-ons
- stylists and staff, including the photos you have already uploaded to Meevo
- locations, with their addresses and a booking link for each one
- appointments, so the day ahead is visible in the website admin
You still decide what appears on your site. Newly synced services arrive hidden, so nothing goes public until you have looked at it, and you can add descriptions and photos that Meevo does not hold.
Read-only, on purpose
The connection only reads. Nothing is ever written back into Meevo: no bookings, no client changes and no price edits. Meevo stays the one place where your business data is managed, and the website follows it. That also means nothing on the website side can ever change anything in your salon software.
When people book, the website sends them to your Meevo online booking for the right location, so appointments go straight into the system you already run the salon on.
What it does not do
It is just as important to know the limits.
- It does not take bookings itself. Booking happens in Meevo.
- It does not write anything back, as above.
- Anything that is not in Meevo, such as your salon's story, gallery photos or blog posts, is written in the website editor.
We list the limits in full on our Meevo partner page, because a sync that promises more than it does is worse than no sync at all.
Why this matters for search too
A single source of truth is not only tidier. When your website, your Google listing and your booking system all show the same prices, hours and addresses, search engines and clients have fewer reasons to doubt any of them. Consistency is one of the foundations we cover in local search basics for hair salons.
It also makes a good services page much easier to keep up to date. If you are planning that page, read what to put on your services and prices page.
Getting started
You will need your salon's Meevo API credentials and your Tenant ID, and a few minutes to choose which locations to connect. The Meevo partner page explains how the connection works, and you can start free without a card.
