How does your business score online?

Paste your address below. We load your home page once and tell you what is there and what is not - the things that decide whether somebody finds you, and whether they can book when they do.

Free, and there is nothing to sign up for. We load your home page once and tell you what we find.

Rather talk it through?

Pick a time that suits you and we will go through your report together - what matters first, what can wait, and what it would take. No obligation, and no sales script.

What we look at

Fifty checks read out of your own page, grouped into the areas you would divide the work into, plus Google's own Lighthouse test for speed. No ranking estimates, no traffic guesses, no score bought from anybody.

Whether an assistant can find you

More people are asking ChatGPT and Perplexity for a salon than last year, and a site can be perfect for Google and invisible to both. We check your llms.txt, whether robots.txt is quietly blocking GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot or Google-Extended, whether your questions are answered in your own words, and how recently anything was published.

Can people book?

We look for a link to Booksy, Vagaro, Fresha, Meevo, Square, GlossGenius, Boulevard and a dozen more. It is the last step, and it is the one most often missing.

What a search result will say

The title and description Google has to work with - and whether they fit before it cuts them off.

Whether a phone can use it

A viewport built for phones, and a number somebody can tap instead of copying out by hand.

What machines can read

Structured data describing the business: the thing that puts your hours and address beside your name in a result.

How it looks when shared

The title and photograph a link shows when it lands in Instagram, WhatsApp or a Facebook post.

Speed, measured properly

Core Web Vitals from Google Lighthouse on a simulated phone, plus what real Chrome users on your site actually got, when Google has enough of them to say.

Local and your Google listing

Whether the Google Business Profile is linked, whether your address and phone are on the page and readable by machines, opening hours, and a map.

Security and privacy

Certificate, enforced secure connections, anything loading insecurely, a privacy policy, and whether tracking is disclosed.

Trust and positioning

Whether the first heading says anything, whether other people's words are on the page, whether the team is introduced, and prices.

The plumbing

Sitemap, robots.txt, canonical address, favicon, alt text, form labels, a sample of the links, and how heavy the page is.

What this check cannot tell you

Worth saying plainly, because most free graders quietly imply otherwise.

Where you rank

Nobody outside Google knows, and a tool that puts a number on it is guessing. The checks here are things that help; none of them is a promise.

Who links to you

Backlinks need a crawl of the whole web, and the people who have one sell access to it. Search Console shows you your own links, free, and it is measured rather than sampled.

Whether the words are any good

A page can pass every check here and still not say why anyone should book with you. That part is yours, and it matters more than the rest of the list together.

Most of this is just there on a Gloss Front site

Titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap, alt text, the booking link to whatever tool you already run - they are built in rather than bolted on. Your own SEO screen runs these same checks against your own content and links each one to the screen that fixes it.

No card. You keep whatever you use for bookings.
