FrontDesk AI
It picks up straight away, answers from what you have told it, writes every call down, and lets you step in on any call with one press.
Thanks for calling, how can I help?
Are you open late on Thursdays?
We're open until 8pm on Thursdays.
And is there parking nearby?
There's a public car park behind the salon, free after 6pm.
Try it now
The same AI a salon's callers reach, answering for a demo salon. Call from this page, or have it ring you.
GlossFront Salon
(201) 252-4307
Press call and talk to the AI receptionist, the same one a salon's callers get. About 3 minutes.
On a call
And what depends on the voice you choose, or is still to come. Each one says which.
Prices, hours, parking, policies: it answers from the short articles you write, and only from them.
Asked something your articles do not cover, it says so and offers a call back. It does not guess.
Every word, on both sides, as it is said. Read it live or later in the call history.
Callers are matched to your clients by phone number, so a regular shows up by name in your call list.
Press Take over and your phone rings. Answer it and you are on the call; the AI steps back.
It asks what the caller wants and when, and leaves the request for your team to confirm.
Anything that needs a person - a question, a call back - becomes a follow-up on your list.
A short summary at the end, so you can skim the day's calls.
The natural voices taking requests and leaving follow-ups, like the standard voice does.
The AI passing a caller to a person when they ask for one.
A different greeting and behaviour outside your opening hours.
Booking the appointment itself, rather than leaving a request.
Standard voice items work with OpenAI chosen as the AI in your FrontDesk settings.
What you get
Your callers' details
Each call is kept as text - the conversation, who called and when, and what the AI did - in your salon's account, for your team. Callers are matched to clients you already have; a new caller is only added to your clients when someone on your team chooses to.
Setup
We set up a phone number for your salon.
Pick a voice, write your greeting, and add short articles on prices, hours and policies.
Calls appear the moment they are answered, and you can step in on any of them.
Questions
No. It answers only from your articles. If the answer is not there, it says so and offers a call back.
Yes, on every voice. Press Take over in the live view and your phone rings; when you answer, you are on the call and the AI drops off.
Not yet. On the standard voice it takes the request for your team to confirm. On the natural voices the request is in the written call, and taking requests there is coming. Booking straight into your diary is coming too.
The natural voices from OpenAI, Amazon and Google sound like a person and reply as you speak. The standard voice is more mechanical, and today it is the one that takes appointment requests and leaves follow-ups, with OpenAI chosen as its AI in your FrontDesk settings.
The call list matches callers to your clients by phone number and shows their name. The AI itself does not greet callers by name yet.
No. FrontDesk answers the phone; your booking tool and your diary stay exactly as they are.
The conversation as text, who called and when, and what the AI did. It is kept in your account for your team.
Today it answers the same way at any hour. A separate after-hours greeting is coming.
