Connect Your Facebook Page
Learn how to connect your Facebook Page to Gloss Front and start sharing content with your community directly from your dashboard.
⚠️ Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following:
- A Facebook account
- A Facebook Page (not a personal profile)
- Admin or Editor role on the page
Step-by-Step Instructions
Navigate to Social Accounts
Log in to your Gloss Front admin dashboard and go to Social Media → Accounts.
Click "Connect Facebook"
Find the Facebook card and click the "Connect Facebook" button. You'll be redirected to Facebook to authorize the connection.
Approve Permissions on Facebook
Facebook will show you a consent screen requesting the following permissions:
- Page list - To see which pages you manage
- Content publishing - To post updates and photos
- Page engagement - To read back the post we published
Click "Continue" or "Allow" to grant these permissions.
Verify Connection
You'll be redirected back to Gloss Front. You should see a success message and your Facebook Page name displayed in the connected accounts list.
You're all set!
Your Facebook Page is now connected. You can start creating and scheduling posts from your dashboard.
🔧 Troubleshooting
❌ "No Facebook pages found"
You need to create a Facebook Page first. Go to facebook.com/pages/create and set one up.
❌ "Failed to get page access token"
You must be an Admin or Editor of the Facebook Page. Viewers and Moderators cannot connect pages. Check your role in Page Settings → Page Roles.
❌ "Connection failed"
Make sure you're logging in with the same Facebook account that manages the page. If you manage more than one page, Gloss Front asks which one is the salon's after you sign in. To change it later, press "Choose another page" on Social > Accounts.
